My Web Pages
The Picture Book should be short because if it is over 10 megabytes, in size, it may not upload to the internet easily and small children become bored when a story is too long.
Some Reception students were shown a book by Rod Campbell, ‘Dear Zoo’, which was in ‘pop-up format and came with an audio CD. They were enthralled. The reader, Caroline Quentin, had an animated and enthusiastic voice.
The lessons explain how students can make a similar book, with text, audio and pictures to captivate and encourage younger children in their reading.
Teachers understand pedagogy and should edit student’s work to ensure that it is appropriate.
These lessons have been devised using Microsoft Office 2007.
